Birthing Classes

When is the best time to take birthing classes?  Early third trimester?

My hospital offers a 4 weeks class starting around 27 weeks.  They also offer a q and a session for the first trimester and one for the second trimester.  We discussed symptoms and the when you might need to go to the hospital and had a tour in the early sessions.  See what your hospital has.  I am at DMC Huron Valley Sinai.

when i took mine, i started it when i was 31 weeks.  it was a 4 week class.  when i had called the hospital to register for it, im sure if i pushed to do it earlier i could have, but the lady said they like to do it for the 3rd tri.   i was at crittenton.

I did mine thru Beaumont, think I was early 3rd trimester.
