Do you have any (ir)rational connotations?

For part of my FFC I mentioned that I didn't want to use Owls in the nursery only because I felt that my daughter would sub conscientiously want to become a hooters girl later in life. Sort of the same thing with leopard print. My SIL is in love with leopard print and bought LO a leopard print onsie. I don't plan on ever using it because I think leopard print is in almost all cases trashy and in every case entirely to "sexy" for a child. Does anyone else have any irrational connotations with animals or other things that has caused them to completely steer clear of using them in any way for your LO?

I hate words like "angel" and "princess" on baby clothes b/c it makes me think of Mexican skanks. Dunno why.

Luckily we are having a boy so this isn't an issue yet, but i won't allow porcelin dolls in my house. I think they are possessed...especially if they have eyes that blink. Creepy!

None that I can think of. I just pray that we don't end up raising a serial killer.

Same as PP, DH and I refuse to buy things or call LO "Princess". We don't want her to feel entitled and spoiled. My cousin calls her daughter Princess Amanda and DH and I are just waiting for the day the kid becomes a complete brat.

On a side note, I won't buy owl stuff because I think they are creepy animals. Lol.

I agree with the leopard print but also zebra for the same reason.  I like owls though.

Leopard print is always bad, but I hate all animal prints. I would never put a baby in animal print its tacky and weird.
