Do any of you have a baby blog or journal yet? How are you documenting this time? I think I will at least take pics of the growing bump. I would love to read some recommended blogs. Send the links along
I'm not going to post any pics or anything on FB....instead it's all going to be documented on the blog if someone is THAT interested in the contents of my ute.
i think this is such a good idea! my mom just told me last night that she kept a journal throughout her entire pregnancy and had pulled it out last week to read through it... what a wonderful treasure! i think i'm going to do mine the old-fashioned pen and paper way

Right now I'm just documenting everything in my current blog, which has all my infertility and loss stuff in it too. Down the road I might make another blog that I can share with friends and family, and just copy certain posts from this one.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
I have a blog, but I'm not telling people for awhile, so what I've been doing is writing posts and then saving the drafts, so that when I do "announce" it, I can go back and publish those posts. I write about it probably once a week, and I think it will be cool for me to have documented, and for friends that don't learn about the pregnancy to go back and read (if they're into reading about that kind of stuff, which I totally am). I'll try to think of some baby blogs. Kellyskorner.com is one I read a lot and she is 20 weeks pregnant with her second daughter, and she does a week-by-week post, and a lot of her links on the side bar are her friends, many of whom have documented pregnancies or are pregnant. I love reading about it too :-)
I also bought the Belly Book, and I'm taking pictures once a week and it gives you room to write a little paragraph under each picture and gives you a place to keep ultrasounds and write about doctor's visits. It's a great journal and it motivates me to keep writing stuff down.
I had a WTE journal and did a totsite for DS. I've got a journal coming in the mail. I hadn't thought about the totsite though. I planned to switch over to blogger but now I may not.
I recently looked through DS's journal. There were a lot of things I had forgotten. It was very touching to look back.
I have two blogs right now. My pregnancy blog, linked in siggy, is separate from my first blog because not everyone knows I'm expecting yet. I'm trying to make the 2nd just about the pregnancy and baby #2 related topics/stories. I think it's hard to journal something like this the old fashion way with pen and paper.
Re: Baby Blogs/Journals?
I have one linked in my siggy. There are a few baby-related blogs I read that are also linked in my blog. Feel free to take a look!
I'm taking pictures of my bloat every week, writing the babe letters, and just writing about whatever is going on lately. Nothing too exciting yet.
Yep. Click on "blog" in my siggy.
