I'm 5 weeks and won't have an ultrasound until 20 weeks unless there are any concerns prior to that... but I'm getting a little jealous of all you gals that are getting to see your u/s's... even if it's just a little blobby at this point

I'm a nurse in the ER and we have an ultrasound machine... I'm thinking about playing around with it tomorrow night at work and checkin' out this little one

What do you think?
Re: Should I do my own ultrasound?
We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

Why would it be internal? Mine wasn't and I'm only 6 weeks. You just have to drink a lot of water beforehand.
I'd go for it, as long as you won't get in shiit!
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
This!
This!
A lot of people who get really early u/s do so because of a history of loss or IF. That's nothing to be jealous of.
I would not give myself an u/s. What do you do if you find something wrong, God forbid?
If I had access to an u/s machine, I would probably be on it 24/7. (Good thing I don't have access to one!)
Just FYI- you can't see anything in the belly u/s until around week 9/10+. Even then, depending on the tilt of your ute, it may be hard.
Wth my first PG at 11 weeks, they had to alternate between the vaginal and belly one to get a shot, because my ute tilts back.
BFP #3 via cancelled IUI ~ C (2lb 3oz; HELLP) 5/16/11
