FP and Baby Einstein Crib Aqaurium Soothers

I was thinking about getting one for my DS2 who is about 6 weeks.  I didn't use one for DS1, and we did have some sleep issues, and I know people have raved about these.

 DS2 is still in a bassinet/co-sleeping, but we are going to move him to his crib in his room next week.  He is a pretty good sleeper now, but it does take a bit of time for him to fall asleep after his nighttime feedings...I thought this would help when we did move him.

So, would you recommend using an aquarium soother?  Also, did you find that your DC became dependent on it?

We have the FP aquarium soother. DD has used it since she was about 3 weeks old plus the Sleep Sheep. Most of the time she is asleep before the soother turns off. I am not sure if she is dependent on it or not. We have just always turned it on for her.

DS never paid any attention to ours when we did the crib transition around 4 months. Now all we use is his Seahorse (he LOVES it!) and a Fisher Price Ocean Wonders projector. It plays 4 tunes (2 lullabies and 2 ocean sounds) and projects 2 images on the ceiling. We use the image with bright colors (for older babies) and the ocean sounds. DS seems to love it...he'll stare at the ceiling while cuddling with his Seahorse and be asleep within minutes.
