really? i'm afraid to move around to much for fear it'll aggrivate things!
i called my ob this morning and she said its totally normal and not to worry, but that doesn't help much with how uncomfortable i am! i can barely concentrate at work because i'm so afraid the cramps are going to start again or i'll have to run to the bathroom

OMG YES!!!!! I'm a new pg 37yo with my 1st and had no idea what it was. I'm so regular so when the cramping started and I almost passed out, I went to the ER (I work in a hospital thankfully). I could not walk, was sweating, was ghost white! My OB told me to take Metamucil and increase my fiber. So far, the cramping is much better, or less, but I'm still not regular.
Re: intestinal distress
Yes and I love that you call it "intestinal distress"--it is so ladylike.
If I eat anything with spice or garlic, it's very, very, very bad.
