Induction & Water Breaking

Not sure what board to put this on...

I was induced with DD at 36w5d (due to fetal distress). After 12 hrs not a single thing had progressed (i.e. no dilation, etc), so I was sent to have a c/s. However, right before I went for the c/s, my water broke.

I'm wondering if anyone knows if my water breaking was as a result of the induction, or if I hadn't been induced would it still have broke at the same day/time?

    I'm not a medical professional, but I'd imagine it was most likely helped along by whatever contractions you may have been having.

    I'm going to agree with PP. My water broke on it's own and then I had to be induced leading to my CS....
