Heard the heartbeat last night!!

Hey ladies,

I joined the ranks as a mommy-to-be who's heard baby's heartbeat!!  We bought a doppler and it was the MOST AMAZING SOUND!!!  Wow!!

We had to be super careful not to confuse the baby's heart beat with mine...apparently momma's is much slower...but we registered a healthy 161 beats per minute once we found it.  :-)   

At nearly 12 weeks, are/were your heartbeats still found quite low in the pelvis just above the pubic bone??
