Homeless guy gave _me_ money....

I rarely post but I had to share.  I was downtown meeting DH for lunch and had the 2 kids in the stroller.  A homeless guy came up and gave me $3 for the kids.  I was touched and shocked.  He was super nice and insisted that I accept it.  I'm just hoping it wasn't a reflection of my wardrobe decisions.

Wow...  I find that both incredibly generous of him and slightly odd all at the same time.  That is very interesting.  Makes you wonder (not bad things - just curious about his background/situation).

I'm pretty sure he was drunk...  but yeah, makes me wonder.  I used to work with the homeless so it wasn't unusual for me to talk to a homeless guy, I guess.

This totally made me laugh.  Most likely, he was just being kind.  Korra had a guy pull a quarter out of her ear at the polls on Tuesday & give it to her, today, an old lady gave Saxton a dollar bill in the grocery store "for being so handsome".

random people give Noah money all the time.  most of the time it's just pennies at the mall to throw in the fountain, but once an older guy gave him 5 bucks for being 'well behaved at a restaurant'.

Dang - I've been well behaved in many a restaurant and have not been given a single penny.  In fact, isn't it ironic that as a grown woman I could go to certain establishments and be rather naughty and come out with a fistful of cash.  Must ponder...

Older people really seem to have a thing about giving money to random strange kids. An old lady gave Noel a couple bucks at the library awhile back and I had no clue what to even say.
