So long as it isn't painful or inhibiting BFing, it's not a biggie, right? I have noticed that sometimes if L sleeps for a particularly long stretch at night she clicks when she nurses and adjusts her latch a lot. I'm guessing it has to do with my oversupply/overactive letdown (which is worse after a long stretch of sleep & engorgement) and she's just doing what she has to do to keep herself comfy. I seem to remember S doing the same thing early on but, you know, mom brain is a bit fuzzy. lol
Anyway, she's certainly getting adequate milk in her and it isn't painful to me at all, so I shouldn't worry, right?
Re: Remind me about bad latch & "clicking".
I'm assuming so, R does this sometimes too, but only in the middle of the night. I think after those 4-5 hours stretches, he's still eager to get back to sleep (considering he falls asleep instantly when he's full), but still has to "readjust". Sometimes he'll root for my nipple when it's right in front of him... Go figure, haha.
I think you're fine though.

Tales of the Wife
According to every lactation consultant I've seen (and I've seen lots in the 12 weeks since J. was born), you are just fine. As long as baby is getting the nutrition he/she needs and it doesn't bother/hurt mom, it doesn't matter if a baby's latch isn't textbook.
