Last day in 1st tri!

Hard to believe I've already made it through an entire trimester! Time is going by much faster than I thought it would. I am so happy to be able to hear my little one on our doppler and to see the start of a baby bump. It's very little, but it's there! Now if I can just be patient and get myself to the week of Christmas to find out the sex of this baby! My guess is 90% that we're having a boy, the family seems to think so as well!
It is such a relief to hit this point after the 2 bleeding scares we had in the very beginning, especially considering we were not planning this pregnancy by any means. We were in the middle of planning our wedding when we found out. We didn't know this at the time, but I ovulated 16 days late and here came Gizmo! (Yes, that's an odd nickname, but it started out as a joke and it stuck!) My periods have always been like clockwork. I'm assuming that since I was under a great deal of stress from my grandpa passing, it just threw my body off. Whatever it was, we couldn't be happier!
There really was no particular point for this post, I just wanted to say how happy I am that we made it to this point! Good luck to the rest of the May Mommies! Now let's see just how slow the next 2 trimesters go......
