I don't really care for it myself, but there's nothing wrong with it. I can only think of three people I've known with this name, and none of them are younger than 20.

My name is Natasha. I hated it as a kid. It felt too... grown up. I went by Tasha. Now, though, I've grown out of Tasha, and go by Natasha. I don't mind it anymore; in fact I like it. Still go by Tasha for close friends and family, and it's nice to have the more formal long name and informal nickname. :-)

There was a really mean girl at my high school named Natasha, so you totally cannot use it.
