So apparently Im a carrier of the SMA gene and after testing DH we have to go talk to a genetic counselor. Dr says everything should be fine, its just for precautionary reasons. *gulp*

Good luck talking to the genetics counselor. I hope they are able to give you some good news.

I hope all works out best for you and if it helps you at all, just because your a carrier doesn't mean your baby will be affected.  On the plus side you will probably get more ultrasounds that are more indepth.  Talk with the genetic counselor ASAP to help put your mind at ease.

Thanks all! Im trying to to worry, I know its still a slim chance, but DH is freaking out....ughhh men! Our appointment is Tuesday so fingers crossed and prayers said the bean is good....well I know it will be!
