Canine Mutt and Strutt next Saturday

Now that we're "dog people", we're trying to attend these events to get Meka socialzed. Anyone want to meet up with us?

Wake County Parks, Recreation & Open Space is teaming up with Wake County Animal Shelter this year for out third annual Canine Carnival & Mutt Strutt - this is a FREE event! Organizations will be available to answer questions about all aspects of dog care and provide information about pet services. Enjoy educational exhibits, contests for your dog, and interactive activities for people and dogs. Watch a fast-paced flyball demo and marvel at quick and well-trained canines at an agility and obedience demonstration. Wake County Animal Center will be providing $5 rabies and $10 microchip services. For more information please visit www.wakegov.com/parks or call the park at 919-662-2850.

Re: Canine Mutt and Strutt next Saturday

  • It's fun!  I went two years ago.  I was actually a vendor but DH came with our dog during the day.  We won't be going this year though; our larger dog is in need of a trainer for some behavioral issues.
