good news today

I talked to my doc and while he said that as soon as I was deemed in "active labor" they would put me on monitors, he told me that the nurses were really good about getting patients out of bed and into different positions (birthing ball, all fours, standing, on the side) while laboring.

This was such an issue for me last time...I was stuck on my back the whole damn time and couldn't rest or relax without the monitors falling off. So frustrating. So it was nice to hear that at least there's a chance this time might be different!

    yay!  I couldn't imagine having to labor on my back!  When you have move I bet it will be so much better for you!
