We don't let the kids eat much candy, so they always have tons left over from last year. Anyway, SD came home last night with a massive bag of candy and says, "oh my teacher said i have to bring all of my candy to school tomorrow."  DH says oh, okay. totally buying it. HA! This kid gets away with EVERYTHING! I'm just glad I don't have to be in the car with them on the way home tonight.

Instead of letting a child make a fool of your husband, why didn't you ask them for a note from the teacher, or call her? Why did you LET your husband be a "sucker" instead of helping him out. Sorry. Not a funny story.

I know a teacher that does just that.  The kids bring all their candy to school the day after Halloween - eat it and have a sugar filled day, and then the rest of the week goes great once there is no candy left.  I personally don't let my students do it...but it probably works.

We definately have to watch her close. She is 10 she just knows the right person to go to to get what she wants. I would have giggled and told her no.
