Wagon for Twins?

Which wagons are good for twins?

Also, do you actually use them? We live in the suburbs and have a backyard, so I'm not really sure how much they'll be used.

I'm considering asking for one for the twins for either their 1st birthday in December or Christmas, but I'm not sure.

Re: Wagon for Twins?

  • We have a Step Two wagon for two plus. The boys love it! It has a door, seatbelts, cupholders and a storage compartment, and the handle folds under to make it easier to fit in your vehicle. We use it quite often for walks around our yard and neighborhood, and it's also been great at places like the zoo, aquarium, beach, etc. They can sit more upright than in the stroller and see better.

  • I asked for a wagon for their birthday.  And honestly, we rarely use it.  It is pretty heavy pulling both girls in it.  We did use it last night for Halloween and it was better than putting them in the stroller.  I am glad we have it but it doesnt get much use.

  • We just got them a radio flyer with the dual seats.  They love riding in it.  We also use it when hauling stuff around.  We didn't get the canopy with it but might consider getting it next year spring/summer.

  • The Choo Choo by Step2 is AWESOME. I was just going to post about it - so check above :) lol

We used it for the first time last night at the Hween parade and TrT - the twins and DS1 loved it - it has straps to keep them in, cup holders, and one car has a little storage under the seat.  It's great b/c they are all separate and don't fight each other :)

we have a Radio Flyer all terrain stroller, too- that we used on vacation at the beach - it was a life saver b/c there's no way to get 3 kids + tons of beach crap on the beach without a wagon for the kids- and the big wheels roll great in the sand.  A stroller does NOT work well in the sand- even all-terrain strollers suck in deep sand- but the wagon was great.

we don't use wagons often but when we do they serve a really good purpose. I think i'll be using the Choo Choo a lot more now - more than the stroller as they get bigger.

  • We have the two step also, it's great.  We use that for walks instead of the stroller.  My two love riding in it :)

We have the same one and LOVE it, we used it last night for Trick or Treating. So spacious and the seatbelts are so great to have. We live in the suburbs too on a cul de sac and know we will get a lot of use out of it.
