why is my weehugger wet on the outside?

i just got it the other day and this was the 2nd time he wore it.  i had a mother-ease fitted under it.  the outside by the leg elastic inward was clearly wet. he had it on for less than 2 hrs and is not a heavy wetter.  can it be because it is new? he is right on the cusp for the size, maybe it's a little too big? i had it snug, though.

please tell me it's a fluke b/c i love the weehugger and want to get more. it's so nicely made.

what happened to waterproof?

I have this problem as well, in an hour just some pee and its wet through, I dont get it!
