I need a lesson in Wool...

SO I bought some wool boosters for our pocket diapers.  I know they do not need to be washed after every use, but how often SHOULD I wash them and how do I do it?

    Wait, so they are doublers, not a cover?  I wash my wool doublers after every use and just wash with the diapers.  The felting is great for doublers.
