AF finally here...

AF finally arrived this morning and boy is it painful.  I actually had to break down and by Midol.  I think it may be from the progesterone, I dunno....Anyone else have this experience?  I think I'm going to bring this up with my RE nurse tomorrow when I schedule my monitoring appt.

Life As I Know It
TTC #1 Since 2/2008
Dx: Hyperprolactinemia and Unexplained
Parlodel 2.5 mg (1 Tab M,W,F; 1/2 tab the other days); Folic Acid; Prenatals
All 5 Clomid cylces resulted in BFN; no more Clomid.
Laparoscopy Scheduled 1/11/11: Path report showed minor inflammation and infection.
3/30/11 Biopsy results: cervial and endometrial pathologies normal; one pathology came back abnormal with 5 rare cells from the endometritis
Cycles 1-5 of Follistim, Novarel, Progesterone = BFN
Surprise BFP 11/18/11
Beta #1 208, p4 7.4; Beta #2 1846.20, p4 16.1
u/s #1 12/2/11 Heart rate 126 bpm measuring at 3mm

    I only ovulated once on Clomid and AF was awful!  I had the worst cramps I'd ever had.  AF has been much easier to deal with on Femara.  Hope you feel better soon!

    TTC#1  starting Nov. 2009
    3 rounds of Clomid + TI and 3 rounds of 7.5 mg Femara + IUI before our BFP on 11/8/10 at 12dpiui
    TTC #2 3rd cycle of Femara 7.5mg+Ovidrel+TI = 4 follies = BFP on 10/12/12 
    TTC#3 July 2014 - Metformin +TI = BFP at 9dpo - Twins, one baby lost at 5.5 weeks 
    Macy Annabelle born at 37w4d on 4/29/15.  Diagnosed with Cri du Chat and passed away on 6/6/15.  Forever in our hearts.
    TTC#4 3rd cycle of Metformin + Femara 7.5mg+Ovidrel+TI = 3 follies = BFP on 12/24/16

    I was on Clomid but not progesterone and I had some ugly cramps too! Hope u feel better!

    Thanks alot ladies.  The midol is actually helping....somewhat.  I was able to tolerate the cramps when it was just the clomid, but not with this new addition.  Hopefully it will all subside by tomorrow.
