What do you think of Alice?

My LO is a boy, but.. I'm just wondering about the name Alice. I'm surprised I don't see it on the boards here very often and it's a great classic name. I think it's beautiful. 

 

The only reason I'm not sure if I'd ever use it is because it's my mom's name. haha I have a great relationship with her, but I don't know if I'd name a child after her. Maybe? She goes by her middle name, anyway. Alice is simply her legal first name.

 

Anyway, what do you think?

I love the name Alice, and would have used it, but we thought it was a LITTLE too close to Allison. LOL

Agreed!  DH LOVES it but it's been vetoed.  I think classic names are really pretty but not this one.

I love it, but we probably won't use it as our last name starts with an S and saying both together kind of makes you sound like a hissing snake lol.

I love this A name. I'm also surprised I don't see it here that often, especially with all the Alice in Wonderland love going on.

And if she's cool with it, and you're cool with it - then go for it...or rather, keep it on your list if it ever actually becomes an option.

I've always loved this name. It's definitely one of those older, chic names. Plus, my great-aunt was named Alice and she was just lovely. She was probably the only normal relative I've ever had.

Love it!  I'm a little biased though, it's my middle name, and my best friend just used it for her little girl.

Alice is one of my favorite names. Unfortunately, we used it for our cat and that would just be weird.
