Doing good. Liam just turned two in September and is a peanut. He was 25 pounds at his 2 year check up. We're definitely going through the terrible twos. My mom says is payback, LOL.

We're also really trying to make the transition from bottle to sippy, but its hard. Though he does just fine with the sippy (and no bottles) at daycare, he throws a fit at home for the bottle. Because he's a peanut and a slow weight gainer, he needs his whole milk, so we haven't gone cold turkey at this point. He's never taken a pacifier, so at least we only have one transition to go through. IDK, I know I'd probably get flamed by a lot of people for still giving the bottle at 25.5 months, and even though we're still trying to make the transition, I'm also not that concerned about, KWIM?

  • yeah sawyer is tiny (but she has tummy issues. i WISH she was 25lbs!!) 25lbs was how much aidan weighed at 2 years old - and now she's 4 and probably 36lbs or so.

but sawyer lost weight betw 18mo and 2 years so blah blah food crap blah blah meds. lol

sawyer still has her bottle bc she has to take meds and i KNOW she'll finish them in a bottle, but she wont in a sippy. so that is more important to me. and i dont give a rat's ass what people think about it anyway LOL aidan took a bottle with water to bed up until this summer ;) oooooh NOOOO a DRINKING DEVICE OTHER THAN A SIPPY!! haha it was a comfort item. then one day i said "nah, lets take this instead" and that was it :)

Liam has tummy issues as well (severe constipation) that we're trying to get under control and figure out how to manage. He's on Miralax every day, so that's another reason we're still giving bottles. We know he'll finish his medicine if its in the bottle. He wouldn't even take more than a few sips if its in a sippy cup. Every once in awhile he'll drink water or juice out of the sippy at home, but never milk. Go figure, he drinks milk, water and juice great out of the sippy at daycare and never asks for bottles anymore. I think its because he sees the older kids at daycare (in home) and wants to do what they are doing. That's why he eats much better at daycare too, eats tons of things he won't touch at home. And, at night, we crush a Flinstones vitamin in his PM bottle. I'm like you, I really could care less what other people think. I also got crap from people who thought it was weird I BF DS until 17 months, and really, I just don't care what anyone else has to say about it, ya know?

Glad your girls are doing well. They're adorable!
