Careers related to Bfing

Anyone studying to be an LC or a Lactation counselor? I really feel like it's my calling after struggling with BFing and recently helping a few friends with their issues. I don't want to go to working now, but I am thinking down the road when the kids are in school. I want to find out info soon and start planning.

I have looked into the pathways to be an LC, but I also wanted to see what other careers their might be.

    I was looking into that. I found an online course that is a few months long that helps you become a lactation counselor...I think that was the same thing. I would love to be an LC, but I dont want to go the nursing route. I figure if I do something like be an LLL leader or volunteer in someway than by the time I want to work I will have acquired many hours to try for the LC exam.
