How did the bris go? I saw your post the day before but didn't get to respond until the day of the big event.

    Thanks!  I did see the reply and wrote back :)

    It went really well.  My mom was a rockstar with the planning and setting up and cleaning.  I held onto him at the beginning and no one bugged me about it.  Afterwards, he was passed out until long after everyone left, so holding him then was no problem.  The few people that I wanted to get more time with him, I just snuck upstairs so we could be alone. 

    Meanwhile his battle scars look pretty awful, but he seems to be feeling ok!

    I tend to worry for nothing, and imagine all the things that can go wrong before any kind of event.  I like to be prepared in my head for anything that can stray from the plan, but I end up driving myself crazy over it...

    So glad y'all had a good day. The circumcision will look a bit raw for a few days but it's amazing how fast it heals.
