Hi everyone! I had my baby on Wednesday, October 27. I started having painful contractions around 8 am, but they were 10 min apart. I took my son to preschool and the contractions became more painful, though still 10 min apart. My husband was off work that day, and we decided to go to L&D anyway. ( Based on my previous experience, my contractions are always spcaced further apart than normal,). We got there around 11 am - I was measuring 4 cm then. I got the epidural around 1 pm, just in time for most painful contractions and pushing. My OB was with me the entire time after the epidural, and after a few rounds of pushing my daughter was born at 3:11 pm at 7lbs 4oz, 19.5 in. I didn't need any stiches, and I almost didn't feel any pain afterwards.

Congrats ateytelb! Love your daughter's name (okay, I'm partial; Nicole is my middle name)!!! Glad to hear you had a smooth delivery!
If no one else is anxious to do it, I could take over the weekly updates for you. I should be (hopefully) around for a while.
