Good evening. It has been a rough day today. My cd8 appt. went well. Right had size 15, 14, and smaller - left had size 12, 10, and smaller. They were pleased, but I feel this isn't many follicles, but what do I know? Lining is 8.3. They gave me the cetrotide 3mg and my stomach is red, welted, and very painful. I can't stand to touch the site and still have to inject there. Not happy here. I also had to do my first mix of gonal-f and luveris, that had my nerves through the roof. It brings a whole new level of anxiety using real needles vs. nifty pens. I am feeling pretty weepy and all that fun stuff, I am sure it's the hormones. This whole process is starting to wear on me.
Kona - I think its very hard. I was so glad when I got to my last day of injections - I would wake up every morning and think pls pls don' tmake me do this.
Hang in there and {big hugs}

((hugs)) It's such a hard, trying process. I know that when you're in the midst of it it seem endless. Just keep your eye on the prize, one step at a time. For now think of the day between trigger and retrieval when there are NO SHOTS!
Just wanted to let you know I understand, and I have so much sympathy for you.

Sending big hugs your way. I had dh do some of my shots in my upper arm when my abdomen started getting sore, ask your RE if that is an option. Especially on those days I had to do 4 different shots I did 2 in my abdomen and 2 on the arm.

I hope things start to get easier for you soon. When I had the consult with my nurse she said some of the shots can go in your upper thigh. Maybe you can switch it up until your stomach feels better. Your follies and lining sound pretty good so far so just concentrate on that part. GL! ((hugs))

Sounds like you def have some follie contenders! And you're only CD8 so you have some time for some others to grow. Your lining sounds great. I'm praying for you and thinking about you all the time! Just keep focusing on the end result!

I'm so sorry. Are you icing before and after the injection? That is supposed to help with the pain. I wish we could make this easier on you.
Hugs!
