"Car ride toy" recs?

Anyone have a rec for toys that are good for amusing LO on car trips? Interactive games or something? Thanks!

    He gets bored with toys in the car so I just fill a few snack catchers with different snacks (pretzels in one, goldfish in the other, etc.) and hand him each one when he gets tired of the last one.  For a long car ride I would probably bring his portable DVD player...

    She likes her interactive stuffed toys:  Scout, the FP Learning Puppy, Baby Tad, that sort of thing.
