Seeing My Alien Baby PIP

Had my 12w appointment today. The doctor couldn't get the hb on the doppler so she did an ultrasound. Baby is doing fine and has a hb of 146. We got to see it swimming around, it was so cool. It turned so we could get a picture of it's face and I have to admit, it's kind of creepy. Baby will now be known as Alien Baby, not sure if that is a step up or down from Turtle, but then again DH still calls him/her that lol.

mine looks like that too! alien crossed with a turtle!!  so exciting to see the baby!

haha, I don't know when DS's was done but I have one and he looks like a ghostface.  Could be an alien.

I refer to the baby in my 6 week ultrasound as 'the blob in my uterus'
