NBR - vacuum question!

My vacuum is f'd!  The cord got completely pulled out.  I took it in for repair and the sales man said that either I can pay $90.00, to get it fixed OR $250.00, for a brand new one.  WWYD?

We have this one. It works amazing! Why pay 90$ to fix it when you can pay 10$ more for a brand new one.

Well, the one I had was really tiny and quiet.  I'm not sure how I could transition to a bigger one.  Thank you tho - I will look into it
