I'm sorry. I've been there a few times. I always found it difficult when people who had been due after me were having their babies and I was back in the first trimester again. It gets better with time. Hopefully this is your healthy sticky baby.
PS My name is Jessica as well and this will also be our third.
I've been there too... it sucks. And honestly, it never gets easier, well, at least not for me yet. This past August I was cuddling my baby and all I could think was "I should have a 1 year old today".

I still somteimes cry because i would have a 3yr old and I still sometimes find it hard when I see friends that where pregnant at the same time and they have three year olds. (Don't get me wrong I am very happy for them and they have beautiful kids.) It is sometimes just hard. I am glad that this one has been successful so far, but I still sometimes get a little emotional about it.
try not to beat yourself up. You didn't lose the baby. Saying that implies that you did something to cause it and we all know that you didn;t. You can still remember that special someone, but try to think of the other special someone that is on their way to you.

I always thought of it as if my first pregnancy had worked out, I wouldn't have this beautiful child here in my arms. God does things for a reason. I wouldn't change it for a bit. I love my DS to pieces! Couldn't imagine him being any other baby!
(Although, I had a very early miscarriage, so maybe it's different for me. I didn't have a lot of time to get used to being pregnant...but it still was hard to start over.)

I would have had my first in early September and when the EDD came I felt sad but I found some comfort in knowing that this LO is as healthy as can be.
A friend of mine put it into perspective like some of the ladies on here. She said that if she hadn't had her first and second miscarriages, she wouldn't have the two beautiful children she has today.
