Katie had to get blood drawn for a lead test today. It was horrible, they pricked her finger but then had to squeeze it a good 10-15 times to fill up a vile. I thought it was bad holding her down for a shot...this was a lot worse.
It was decided that I was too biased to be the gatekeeper. Star said she would as soon as she was KU so we will see what kind of job she does. DnD cannot be gatekeeper because she is easily persuaded to evil, as evidenced by her foray into the TIp underground.

I did G's 6 month photo shoot and halloween shoot, made pumpkin baby food (needed the pumpkin for the shoot! lol) and I also had an acorn squash that got cooked but got busy so its in the fridge and will get pureed tomorrow. then I went to work. i always miss all the drama.
We went to the specialist today for another consult. Jules has to have another test next Friday....we are exhausted!
What did they say?
She has to have a VCUG to check for urinary reflex...and an u/s in 6 weeks to check the cyst.
They use a catheter to insert a fluid into the bladder to see the path it travels and make sure it doesn't go up into the ureters or kidneys, then they use xrays to watch it.
I see you brought crazy to the board. I thought Yankee was going to guard the gate?
My MIL is here? Where? :Hides behind Yankee:
Bwahahahahaha!
But seriously...that crazycakes from 9-12 and SP. Someone (coughYankeecough) kept linking her trainwrecks and it brought her over here.
When the term Crazy is used in my house it is always and I mean ALWAYS in reference to MIL. I don't call her by name anymore. She is just called Crazy *well not to her face.... yet.

I had my own kind of crazy to deal with. Halloween, I mean Fall party with 31 kindergartners. Aaaand I forgot to take my PPD meds last night, so that just made it extra great.

Were they bouncing off of the walls all day? I can't even imagine. Do you mind me asking what you're on for PPD?

They weren't actually all that bad. They left at 11:00 and they're a good bunch. There's just so many of them, so many parents and siblings. It was just a whole lot of excitement in such a short time span.
And I'm on Pristiq. I like it so far. Today's not the first time I've missed a dose, but it is the first time that I've felt weepy.
Re: What did you ladies do today?
Ouch! But good for you for making your own baby food. I had all of these grand plans to do that myself, but we're straight Gerber up in here.

Poor Jules.
Just pics in the house...3 outfits and her Halloween costume. She was kinda grumpy, but I think she got some good shots.
