This is super random, but I just happened to see your sig in another post.  Do you happen to remember the brand/style/whatever of the dress you're wearing?  My sister recently got engaged and I've got my eye out for bridesmaid dresses... and I love the neckline on that one.

Well, the wedding wouldn't be until 2012 (probably either May or Aug, depending what works best with her school schedule -- she's planning to be in nursing school by that time)... so she has looked at dresses online but not in stores yet -- not until spring probably.

This one currently has her eye... but it's early of course.  (LOVE THE BACK of it!!!)

Colors are decided, though -- pewter/charcoal and summery yellow.  BMs will be in that dark gray color.

Cute, thanks!  I'm hoping for something in a better fabric, though... I'll pay a little more for something in a nice silk chiffon or silk shantung if it means it will be a quality dress that I'll wear again, you know?

That David's dress is the dress from my siggy - it was for my bro & SIL's wedding in June & I LOVED it.  It is in cotton, but it was really nice quality - I will actually wear it again.  The best part, though, was that it had pockets!

Don't rule out the dress before you go feel the fabric, I think you'll be surprised.

Wow, I'm surprised!  It looks like it has a little sheen to it in the pic, which I wouldn't expect from cotton.

I kind of loathe David's but it's a cute dress, so we may have to go check it out.  Thanks for the info!

Thanks!  It's always nice to see it on a real person instead of the photoshopped digitally-colored version on a model who's probably 6'2".

4 out of 5 of my girls ended up getting their dresses at david's since they got $20 off.  They really had some cute ones!

Here you go!  The fabric really does have a sheen to it, it's really nice.  The other BMs had different dresses, the one on the right wasn't from David's.

I understand your loathing of that place, I wasn't very excited about it either - but it is probably my favorite BMs dress that I've ever worn!

LOVE the colors. I just told Brian last week, actually, after we got a wedding invite with similar colors that if I were planning a wedding right now, that's what I would go with (sorry, run-on sentence). I can't wait to see pictures!
