spotting/UTI?

I woke up yesterday and my underwear had some bright pink discharge. I went to the ER and had an u/s, b/w and urine test done. Baby looked good and heartbeat was going strong. They told me I had a UTI and we had sex the previous night so that might have affected me.

Has anyone had this happend to them? It isn't so much that I have to wear a pad/liner but the pinkish discharge is there when I wipe. This is the 2nd day so I am freaking out.

I'm not a doctor....but I wouldn't worry too much about the spotting unless it doesn't stop after 24 hours. I was told by my doctor that the cervix has enlarged blood vessels while you are pregnant, so it makes it more susceptable to bleeding after intercourse. I'm sure that everything is fine...especially if you went to the ER and baby was ok. Also, make sure you go to the bathroom immediately after sex to help prevent future UTI's Hope this helps...Good luck, and Congrats!!
