My cousin's wife (maybe? I can't remember if they are married or not. Please keep in mind I have two cousins so it's not like I'm getting him lost in the shuffle. They just never tell us anything) had a baby last night.
Apparently my aunt got a text at 10 am that the baby was born at 2 and everything was fine but not to call.
She then posted it on facebook.
When someone said congrats or whatever she responded "he said NOT to call."
My mom just texted me that if I text her to say her grandchild had arrived she would be pissed.
Only thing I can figure is something is wrong and they are busy/wrapped up in that. But still.
I can't stand my aunt but I might feel a little bit sorry for her on this one.
Fuuck TTC - I'm moving on.

even if something were wrong, one would think you'd call the grandparents, not text. very odd.

So now 12 hours later they still have not heard anything- no picture, nothing.
I'd forgotten that they also got married on the fly and let everyone know after the fact, by text message.
This dude has always been flaky (and felonious but that's another story) but this really is getting ridiculous.

Well finally someone called.
Cousin's wife (confirmed) had an emergency c-section after 20something hours of labor because of her kidneys tearing. I have no idea what the means but it is what it is.
Anyways- who called? Not my cousin. His wife.
The same wife who had spent the last day laboring, being under general anesthesia, having surgery, and dealing with a brand new baby as well as recovery.
Yea she's the one that had to call.

LOL! That's the first thing I thought about when I saw this post, but I didn't want to sound like a b!tch.
