I am the Halloween version of Scrooge

I hate Halloween. Always have. I hated Trick or Treating as a kid (I think because I was shy) and I hate having to give out candy now. This morning, I arrived to my office to find one of those "Boo" things with candy telling me I now have to make my own treat bag to give to someone else. I think the "Boo" is going to end with me because I just don't care to keep it up.

I'm not sure why I'm such a scrooge about it, but Bah Humbug!

you are a Halloween party pooper.  LOL.  It is almost over and maybe as your LO gets older you will start enjoying Halloween.

i'm the same way lol.  i think it has a lot to do w/the shyness factor.

Glad to hear I'm not alone. I feel like everyone loves Halloween but me.

NLSanchez - you're probably right about me liking it better once DD gets older. I hope that's the case because I certainly don't want to ruin it for her!

i have a strong dislike for it as well... we don't hand out candy (i don't like the kids in the 'hood), i can't stand the thought of dressing up, and we don't go to parties. i'd be happier if it didn't exist
