cysts?

I have had cysts on my ovaries since I was 16ish.  They've been flaring up a little and causing some discomfort...the doctor is sending me for an ultrasound tomorrow.  I'm a little worried but also excited to see the baby!  Anyone else know they have cysts?  What does the doctor say about them?

I have cysts.  3 on one side, 2 on the other and they are on the larger side.  Most of mine are caused by the infertility meds I was on before getting my bfp.  My Dr. wasn't to concerned and says they should shrink and go away on there own.  I have read that if they continue to grow and cause problems you could end up having surgery to remove them while pg.  Hopefully for both of us they will shrink on there own.

Did your doctor do extra ultrasounds?  Or will he/she to monitor them?

I have one cyst on my right ovary.  The dr said this is normal in pregnacy.  It's the corpus luteum of pregnancy which forms after the egg is released.  It provides hormones to the uterus that are needed for pregnancy.  The dr said as the pregnancy progresses the cyst will go away.
