2nd Trimester

Headache, headache, headache!

I NEVER get headaches!!!  Ever since I hit week 12 of my pregnancy though I have had a headache every day...not all day...but pretty much between the hours of 2-6pm.  I don't why I keep getting them.  Blahhhh!  They aren't migraines, well, I actually have never had a migraine but ppl say I would def. know if I had one and this isn't a killer headache by any means, just an annoyance! Anyone else?  Maybe I don't drink enough fluids throughout the course of a day.

  • I was getting them all the time for a while.  It sucks.  2 tylenol and a can of coke should knock that right out of you.

  • I have been having the same problem starting most days around 2 and lasting until I go to sleep.  I asked the doctor about it last visit and he said that this is very common in pregnant woman and 2 o'clock is the witching hour!  He said the mostly likely cause if your blood sugar crashing a couple hours after lunch and to have a snack or some apple juice.  He said peanut butter crackers are good.  Hope that helps!

  • Sinus headaches? There's a nasal steroid they can give you that's safe but my insurance doesn't cover it and it's 140.00 eek.

  • I've been getting them 2-3 times a week since i hit the second trimester too. Sometimes it's sinuses, sometimes it's hormonal, sometimes it's just increased blood flow. If it's not sinus pressure, tylenol is safe to take. Well it's safe for sinus pressure too it's just an allergy med would be better suited for that.
  • I've also been getting headaches since 12 weeks almost every day. I haven't taken anything for it or had any caffeine since i found out I was pregnant but they have made me cry a few times when I have a deadline and can't think straight.
