The difference between boys & girls. pip

This cracks me up.  This is Cohen and my neice Emma.  They are 10 days apart.  Emma always has that smile and she is just kind of taking her sweet time trying to get up to the slide.  "Oh, what a beautiful fall day."

Cohen, on the other hand, is determined to get up those steps, and while pushing his way through, he's saying, "Get out of my way, woman!"

Big Smile

  • Yep!!!

This weekend DS made it his mission to master the rock wall on the swingset. Whenver DD was on it too, he would get all crabby and say "Moo Mah-ee" (Move Maddie) And then proceed to say when he got to the top "I in Mah-ee" (I win Maddie).

I feel for DS's daycare teachers. In his class there are 10 kids...8 are boys.

  • I have a niece and nephew who were 13 months apart.  Nephew was a little delayed, niece was a little ahead so they were basically always at the same stage, they were raised the same way, had exposure to all the same toys at the same time, etc.  But there is just something different between boys and girls.  I realized it when they were 2 & 3 yo and I gave them a box of tonka trucks.  My niece immediately pushed them up and down the driveway in a straight line.  My nephew ran to a big pile of dirt to crash and roll them alll over.  viva le differance.

Yep. They are both at the same exact stage, but they do things totally opposite.  Yet, they get along perfectly.  I love it!

  • That's adorable!
