Not as cut and dry as you would like to think

Also, please stop using the excuse that you have an 11yr old, and your Latin Blood for your anger issues.
Re: For spursgirl10
Okay again, I never said slap the kid in the face. So I don't see how this is the same thing as the situation I was in....I didn't want her to slap her kid in the face....spanking is palm to butt. That's it. Not palm to face or palm to any other part of the body. Just to the butt. Someone slapping a kid in the face, I would not have tolerated that and would have taken the child myself. I use my 11 yr old as an example of the fact that I have been in situations like this.....I was referring to all those posts about how I have no clue what its like....I do....I have a kid. I'm not even going there with the latin blood thing....
omg give it a rest.
smacking a 13 month in the face is a LOT different that spanking a child who understand on the behind. Spanking is NOT abuse. Get off your high horse.
I'm pretty sure she was joking. She doesn't seroiusly need anger managment issues. You guys are so absurd sometimes.
Does it drive you nuts when a child is screaming a resturant and you see the parents doing nothing? YES! Its like nails on a chalkboard.
dont tell me you havent been annoyed by a screaming child and thought to yourself "I could get that kid to be quiet!, that mother isn't doing good enough" . I was a perfect mother...until I had a child.
Even if you have a child, you still judge. We all do it, to the kid who stands up in the shopping cart, to the kid (11 yr old)in walmart with his hand down his pants I told him was gross. We all look and judge and get annoyed with other people's children.
edit to fix type
I shall refer you to my point above. "I never said to slap a child. I was just pointing out, a flight attendant can deem a situation unsafe for a child if a hand is risen. That is all."
Learn to read.
I totally agree. As Totty pointed out, everyone will always judge people.
And ewww to the kid at Walmart.
I think most parents are going to take their child to the bathroom ultimately on a plane or in any public place. Its what we've always done with ours. While yes the flight attendant can step in if the situation feels unsafe for the child at hand, I doubt most parents are going to do it in the public eye. But smacking and spanking are different.
Ok, dumb, this is not what she said at all.
