Gender neutral nursery ideas

Disney characters are out.

I have a white crib & I'm thinking decals would work well since we'll only be here for another year.

I just saw the cutest Owl set at Sears on Friday night that I might go back and get. I do still have a gender neutral bedding set that I had with my first. But we are in a new house and I am doing DS's room and thought I would do a new nursery.

Although they seem to be trendy or popular right now, I love the tree decals for kids' rooms.  I was thinking of doing the cherry blossom theme if I had a girl, but here is a pretty neutral tree.  You could accessorize more flowers and butterflies for a girl, or more animals/ woodsy stuff for a boy...?

I'm considering using primary colors with either striped or polka dotted bedding. I don't have any links on my work computer to share, but I've seen quite a few examples out there.

I have a tan/gold/red/green nursery with a circle theme. MIL made the crib skirt and window treatment and then I used circle wall decals in a random pattern on the wall above the crib.
