Hi everyone! We are excited to be having a baby even though I am like 4 weeks but we are starting to shop around and get ideas for cribs. Any suggestions we would really appreciate. Which one is the safest crib and what is the difference between a floorbed and having a crib.
Re: First Time Parents Need Crib Help
Yes! This book is a lifesaver. It kept me from getting completely overwhelmed as we purchased our baby gear.
We have the Davinci Emily crib. It's sold under different "brand" names, but is made by MDB. I love it and it gets good reviews.

I agree with pp, Baby Bargains is a great place to start your research. I don't think it matters much which crib you pick, I think it's most important that you check it out in person before you order it. I ordered mine online but found it setup at BRU before later buying it at the online store with the best price. I think it is really important to make sure it's sturdy and what you're expecting by seeing it in person first.

Ditto. We all prioritize different things in nursery furniture, so it's hard to give a blanket recommendation. This book helped me narrow down the choices and select a few brands to check out, and then specific styles within those brands, and then I checked out those styles in person and knew right away which one I wanted.
