I'm meeting with a potential in-home DCP this week. Any questions that you would suggest I ask? I have a list already, but I don't want to forget anything important.
Also, what kind of supplies would you suggest I buy (if any)? Where did you get your name labels, and would you recommend them?
CD mamas, how many wetbags do you have for daycare? Anytihng else I might be forgetting?
Re: Questions about daycare
I had a laundry list of questions, but our interview ended up being so casual that I didn't need them. The most important thing for us is that they were willing to use CDs.
We used InchBug labels for her name and reusable food labels for date and on her food containers. I absolutely recommend both.
We had 2 wetbags until last week. I added a 3rd because we can now go 3 days between washings. We keep CD friendly diaper creams and liners at daycare.
Ditto babycenter.com for an interview sheet.
As far as supplies, once you choose a DCP I would just ask them what they provide. We have to provide VERY little for Ella - only diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes. Everything else is provided. When she was an infant, we also provided BM/formula and bottles.
I have four wetbags. I LOVE these from Monkey Foot Designs on etsy. The large size is perfect for day care. The four I have have lasted more than 14 months now with very little sign of wear (other than fading from washing them in hot with the dipes).
Thanks ladies! The Baby Center interview sheet is especially helpful. I knew there had to be something like it out there but wasn't having much luck with Google.
