Hey hey hey!!!

Hello there!  I finally have my internet at home up and running.  Woo hoo!  So hopefully I'll be able to post more often.  Things are going well for us.  Lucy is such an awesome baby.  I'd forgotten how much babies sleep in the beginning!  I've quit breastfeeding and am now pumping.  My nipples couldn't take anymore.  I must have had a bad latch or something but I could barely make it through a nursing session without crying.  And since she's a lazy eater and would fall asleep after 10 minutes or so, she was nursing almost every hour and I wasn't emptying either boob.  So pumping is working out well.  I'm getting twice what she's eating, so I've got a nice supply going in the fridge.  I didn't want to pump, but as long as I've got the milk and I'm home, I might as well.  I won't be able to breastfeed/pump when I go back to work anyway, so at least I won't have to worry about weaning her off the breast when the time comes.

Ellie is a great big sister.  She loves Lucy so much and constantly wants to kiss her, hold her hand, or help out.  Sometimes she wants to help out too much though and has tried to pick her up on a few occasions and give her toys and her paci.  So we have to watch her closely.  The only sign of jealousy she's shown was when I was nursing and asked when it was going to be her turn.  lol.  Hopefully I'm not traumatizing her too much by pumping in front of her.  She insists on standing right next to me while I'm doing it and watching me.  She even yelled at me yesterday to hold onto the bottles and not spill any of Lucy's milk.  I rigged it up so I'm hands free.  :)
