I'm looking for some advice on the best way to bathe my 7 month old little man. He can sit up on his own and has outgrown his infant-to-toddler tub, but it just isn't working to put him in the "big" bathtub for bathtime......he slides around and it's impossible to wash his hair, and to stand him up to wash his little boy parts. I was curious which was the best option: an infant seat, a bathmat, or an inflatable tub, or a combination of these? Any help would be appreciated!!!
We only have a stand up shower right now at our house. Eventually we will install a real tub, but thats not going to happen until next Spring. So, the ducky tub and I think that other inflatable will be too big for us....
I just use a dishdrying mat I got at bed/bath in the kitchen sink. It's the perfect height - no bending, no reaching and the mat keeps her from slipping. Also, I gave an inflatable tub for my MOM'S house that goes in the tub (like the one pictured above) and there's a good amount of traction on the bottom. It's perfect for her house.
Try seeing if the inflatable bath tub works my daughter is still using her infant tub she just sits up in it and kicks water around. One point I tried the tub thing but it's a pain to get in there with then in a swim suit and then get out special if its a huge jacuzzi.
No the bottom is not slippery. Yes she can still sit without holding on. It's not a flat bottom. It's like pockets that you blow up so she can balance.

This is an inflatable from One Step Ahead. Jeanne loves it! She can balance herself sitting up bc she puts her arms on the side while sitting. HTH
Is the bottom of this slippery? Can she sit still in it if she's not holding on??
I like the Duck Tub. It has a non-skid area which she sits on and the weight of the water in the tub makes it really hard for the tub to move around.

Liam is 5!
How does that work - do you hold her the whole time?
