Help! I need opinions...

I am driving myself crazy trying to choose a name for our baby girl.  We have 4 names that we have both agreed on, but I keep second guessing which one I like the best (for various reasons).  So what are your thought on these names?  My son's name is Mason...

Avery--in my area it is mainly a girl name and really not too popular yet, but on here I have read a lot of people think it is more of a boy name.

Taylor--I have always liked this name, but my sister's boyfriend has a daughter named Taylor and I think it would be kind of weird if they ended up getting married, however, I don't think we would see the kids often.

Payton--I feel like this is kind of "rhymey" with Mason???

Kendal--This is my MIL's maiden name, and we really don't get along at all and I kind of don't want to give her the satisfaction of naming our daughter after her (my husband feels the same way!)

The only one I like is Avery. Strongly dislike the rest. With the history you have with Kendal, I'm confused as to why you're even considering it.

I was going to say I don't mind Kendal due to the significance... but if you don't even like your MIL, why use it?

I don't like Payton.

Taylor and Avery are okay... I like Avery better. I'm not really a fan of anything, though.

FWIW, the only Avery-s I know are all girls - both adult and child.  This seems to be the best of your choices.

if i had to choose, i'd pick avery.

based on what you said, kendal shouldn't even be a contender.  if kendal didn't have a negative connotation for you, i'd pick kendal - i really like it!

I like Taylor and Payton the best. However, I probably wouldn't use Taylor if your daughter could potentially have a cousin with the same name. Payton and Mason would never cross my ming as too rhymey.

Honestly, I don't like any of them. I can't stand the name Avery. Kendall is just NMS at all. I don't really like Taylor either. Peyton would be the only one I would choose but I don't even like it much either!

Mason is a great name and I think you should find a girl name on that level.

I don't like any of them...they're really NMS at all.  But if I had to pick one, I guess I'd go with Avery.

Avery- I know soooo many girl Averys and 3 boy Averys (but they are all cowboy/rodeo children)

Taylor- I wouldn't care about the "potential" cousin, especially if they aren't close in age. And you said you doubt you'd see them alot anyways. 

Payton-too rhymey with Mason for me! 

Kendal- Bad association with it-don't do it!
