s/o "big kid" beds..

What age do you folks think is time for transitioning to a toddler or big kid bed? I haven't really thought about it yet as I think DS would just get right out of bed and run around if he had the option to right now... but we have never really tried so it's hard to say for sure!

Before a big kids bed I think we'd just take the front off the crib, it's built to be able to do that so its' kind of like a day bed.

J isn't ready. When I switched it he kept sitting with his back at the edge of the bed. We will wait longer.

I kinda figured it was something that might work when they're 2...but with DS I dunno he's such a wired little dude he might not stay in bed himself for a while yet.... O_o
