We were thinking about doing a family picnic at Brakenridge Park this weekend. We have never been. Is there plenty for my toddler to run around and do? Are there playsets, etc? Is it pretty stroller friendly?
Yes and no. There are parts that are toddler/stroller friendly, but there is also a whole lot of the park that is just open (or wooded) and green. There are a few playset area scattered throughout the park (It is a HUGE park). You should be able to drive around a bit and find a nice spot!
If you don't want to go as far, I actually think McAllister Park is less crowded and is toddler/stroller friendly.
