What's in LO's crib?

DS just has a lovie and a blanket. Sometimes, on days when he's cranky I think about putting a book or a toy in there, but then I'm afraid he'll play with it too long and forget about nap. Just curious to what's in your LO's crib :-)

Just a blanket.  Knowing ds, he'd find a way to stack everything up in one corner, and use it to jump out of the crib.

Right now there are 2 blankets in their cribs--one afghan and one fleece.  It's flopping back and forth between comfortable and downright cold at night, so we keep both handy, just in case.

They also each have 2 lovies, even though B is the only one that ever uses his at all.

An Aidan & Anias (thin) blanket, his lovey, his seahorse, and a soft rattle that he doesn't really play with anymore.

DD has a lovey, thin blanket and violet. She loves that puppy. K is in a tod bed so she piles stuff in her bed and falls asleep LOL.

They each have a lovey, this caterpillar toy thing that plays music, and their FP soother which is attached to the crib.  And yes, they both try to use the soother as a stool and climb out of the crib.  Good thng they are still too short to lift their legs over the crib.

She has 2 blankets - a receiving blanket and a thermal one as it's gotten colder. She also has a stuffed doggie.

A blanket, his lovey, and 2 stuffed bunnies in the corner that he never bothers with.  I don't want toys in the crib because the crib is for sleeping, not playing imo.

This is a favorite topic of mine because I think it's really sad when I see siggy pics of babies in boring, empty cribs like a prison cell, so flame me if you want bishes but here's DS' crib inventory: one crocheted blanket, 2 stuffed animals, My Pal Scout, Sophie the Giraffe, 1 crib mirror, 1 rattle, 3 pacifiers and 1 book!  DS loves to play in his crib when he wakes up and he naps 3-4 hours a day so the toys don't distract him from his naps.

Two blankets.  One is his lovey - Aden & Anais blanket that I wrap around him, and the other is a heavier soft & cozy blanket I lay over him once he's asleep.  For a few weeks we had a stuffed pink pig in there...but now it's in the van instead.
