Whats going in your LO's Halloween Loot Bag?

I plan to get her 1 or 2 board books too.

Are you making her a gift bag?  When I was growing up, my mom didn't want us to have so much candy.  We would go trick or treat, then trade the candy with her for something that we picked out (with like a $10 price limit).  I'm not sure if she is old enough for something like that though.

Yes, a gift bag. That is a really great idea your mom had.  I don't think Lil Miss would get the concept just yet, but I'll have to remember that for the future.

When I was little, "the great pumpkin" would come, take most of our candy and leave us a prize. Worked great until my sister & I found the stash one year in my mom's china cabinet and pigged out on it.

there are a couple of local dentists that will but your kids candy back from you, in our city. One of them will buy it back and give the $ to your kids school.

I think I'm gonna do the same, some board books, maybe a stuffed animal I'll use in the basket next year, I wanted some new bath toys for her, so I might add those.

how about a new tooth brush & tooth paste for lil miss?

Hopefully lots of Reeses and Butterfingers!  Yum! 

I really hadn't thought about doing a treat bag, but I think that's a great idea. 

What about some small games or new crayons?  Or even some healthier treats like raisins or goldfish.

I never grew up getting anything for Halloween (maybe cause it was my mom's birthday? lol), so I didn't even think about doing something like that.
