puking & a little diarrhea, then fine for a day & a half then puking again?

argh! anyone have this experience?

DD threw up a couple times around dinnertime on Tues, had a couple episodes of diarrhea in the night & early morning, was fine all day Wed except low appetite but no more diarrhea & vomiting. Went back to daycare today, had a good day, good appetite, etc. Woke up at 10 pm after vomiting in her crib again...?! She is in pretty good spirits, MH is rocking her a little but it just seems weird to me.  DS also threw up in the middle of the night Tues, had no diarrhea, kept him home from daycare Wed & back today, has been fine so far. And something was going around daycare we found out but we figured it was a 24 hr thing.

any experiences would be great...!

Yes!! Last Monday DS was puking every 20 minutes for 5 hours straight. Then he had diarrhea. Tuesday he was fine and then Wednesday night he puked once at like 6 and then in his crib sometime around 9. I had no idea what to make of it. We were on BRAT diet all day Tuesday and regular food on Wed, so maybe their stomachs just weren't settled yet? I thought these were 24 hour things, but now I'm thinking 48 hour?

In that time that they didn't puke..did they eat more?

That's what did it for DS.

hmmm yeah, she ate less the day right after but on day two seemed to have a normal appetite, followed by puking that night. she seems better today, hopefully that is the end of it!
